A cloister was built as part of the extension to this house

This lent itself to the creation of a courtyard garden in this area of the garden. The owner of this Woodstock garden is a very keen gardener and it was full of interesting plants. But because of the original design she had nowhere left in which to plant and the overall feel to the garden was very square and imposing with the walls being too dominant. We are all very pleased with the changes. This year the garden has a harmonious, peaceful feel.
